I read the other posts on the Woods 1050. My Kubota L48 has solid mounts for a backhoe. The 1050 I am buying was used as a 3 point mount and I would like to use the setup on the Kubota L48. Do I need an attachement to fit these two together? Where can I read up on this?
Thanks
Jerry

talk to WOODS--but if you want the 3 point ya need the lift arms and a heavy duty top link bracket--yer L48 should be able to handle the 1050--JMMHO ....

I got a communication from Woods that indicates they only make the 3 point attachment for the 1050 backhoe. I really want to make a secure attachement to the 1 7/16 frame mounts.
I wish I could weld!

The Woods 1050 is a pretty powerful hoe. Friend of mine has one on a JD 4240, which is 110 pto hp. It's a pretty good match for that tractor. I can't imagine you putting it on the 3-point of an L48. If you have any kind of bigger tractor you'd be better off. My guess is that the backhoe will be too much weight on the hitch. ....

I am building a conversion to go to the frame mounts to the L48. The frame mounts are 1 7/18 or Cat 3 level. I got the backhoe cheap enought to spend some money on the mounting. We will see if it works!
